Description

This tool is used to form an extrusion in a flat sheet. Among many other applications, extrusions are used for thread forming in thin sheet in order to increase the contact surface and thus ensure a higher strength of the connection. Other areas of application include checker plates, where extrusions help to make a surface slip-resistant, and sheet metal design in general.
